This touring life is a glamourous one from the outside but I can tell you, from the inside, it can take its toll if you aren’t prepared.

Fear and the lessons it has taught me

Fear.

It’s a scary word.

It scares us to know that we have it and it scares people to know that others are fearful.

It is a vicious cycle and it would make anyone want to run to the bed and dive under the doona to escape the world.

Why am I bringing up this dirty word?

Well, two weeks ago I made a fearful decision. A fearful decision for others that is.

Music has incredible power.
It has the ability to bring people together from all walks of life. From all nations, creeds, and religions.  Young and young at heart.
It has the power to unite.
Australian Music Artist, Katie Noonan, is the current Artistic Director of the Queensland Music Festival and is a woman known as not just an accomplished singer/musician but a woman who pushes the boundaries and uses her voice on behalf of those who don’t have one.
Last night was no exception.

Well I can’t speak Romany, I don’t tell fortunes but you could say that I am a part of a travelling people traditionally living by itinerant trade.

However, I would probably refer to myself as the latter.

Oh, how rude of me.  Before I go ahead I had better introduce myself.
